Art from Math by Bill Ralph

Mail@EdwardABurke.com

Artist and mathematician Bill Ralph has been creating visual realizations of mathematical worlds for the past 30 years. Using his computer modeling and simulation techniques, mathematical processes become digital brushes that generate structure, colour, and composition. At exhibits in Canada and the USA, people can view images that harness themes from coding and dynamical systems. Dr. Ralph’s new work exploits sophisticated contemporary tools that fuse mathematical knowledge and artistic expression into a distinctive body of work for the 21st century.
