Artist Statement: I always got inspired by mythological stories of my childhood time, lots of memories and I used to take my art tuition even in KAALI MANDIR (kaali temple) . that’s why I tried these painting in my way called adishakti. ADISHAKTI DURGA is very known form of hindu Goddess. Durga is a goddess of positive energy to destroy evils and demonic force that threaten peace willing to unleash her anger against wrong, violence for liberation and destruction to empower new creation. ADISHAKTI KAALI, one of the three manifestations of mahadevi Durga that represents the three gunas Sattva, Rajas and Tamas ( darkness, destructive) . Kaali represents Tamas or the force of inertia. Her most common four armed blue colour iconic image show each hand carrying variously , a sword , a trishul (trident) , a severed head . Her eyes are described as red with intoxication and in absolute rage, and her tongue is lolling. She has a garland consisting of the heads of demons. She has slaughtered and wears a skirt made out of demon arms, standing on the inert on the body of Shiva, where Kaali represents Shakti, the power of creation and shiva represents pure consciousness is inert in and of itself.
