Artist Statement: Capturing the color and light of nature is an important matter for an artist like me who sees the object of nature as part of our human soul, capturing its unique self. My goal is to inspire others to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unusual places. Color and lights elusive quality can transform a figure or a landscape in just a matter of seconds. I strive to convey that sense of place by capturing its fleeting magic and the power of what they leave behind in our memories.
