Artist Statement: Through the second skin (How) do we connect? This project poses questions about how the intrusive, obsessive and almost embedded epidemic influence that is affecting the nature of society itself. By literally wrapping the models in a bubble, disconnecting them from society and daily life rituals. It’s about a frustration as well as a fascination I witnessed myself from closeby, where we are disconnected from each other as our surrounding. Showing you what we are missing out. Richard Westerhuis
