“RED 2” Opens September 14, 2016

New York Exhibit – “RED 2”, 09/14/16: Gallery 25N is presenting a group exhibition of work relating to the color red by twenty international contemporary artists.

In accordance with this shows curators theme “RED 2” the artists work selected for this exhibition are in a variety of mediums: painting, drawing, digital art, photography, sculpture, etc. The artwork that is exhibited reflects these artist's interpretation of a subject enhanced through the use of the color red. In the work one can see how red is used to imply a wide range of emotions and feelings; power, heat, love, sexuality, anger, joy, etc.

The work and its use of the color red draws the viewer closer emotionally in a way which enhances and emphasizes their reaction to the art. It may define intuitively an intended focal point that carries the viewer more deeply into the message communicated by the artists.

Gallery 25N is happy to have worked with to curate this exhibit of international contemporary artists’ work. Our mission is to help promote emerging and established artists and their art to a worldwide audience.
