"Portraits 2018" Gallery 25N Exhibit Online

Online Exhibit – Opens 12/28/2018

Worldwide Exhibit – “PORTRAITS 2018”, December 28, 2018:
Gallery25N – is proud to present a group exhibition of recent work by twenty international artists from representational to abstract where their portraits show the inner essence of the subject or a flattering representation, not just a literal likeness. The works on view clearly show an expression in great portraiture of character and moral quality, not anything temporary, fleeting, or accidental. The curator has selected a diversity of artworks for this exhibit from a variety of still medium categories: painting, drawing, collage, photography, sculpture, digital art, and fiber art.

Featured in this exhibit is the winning painting, “Eric”, by Stephen Mangum of the United States. Stephen Mangum is the most recent recipient of the Gallery 25N’s fine art grant. The grant is awarded to those artists who are making an outstanding contribution to the visual arts.

In accordance with this shows curators theme "Portraits 2018" the selected artist's work was based on the uniqueness of the vision conveyed, the quality of execution and how clearly the artist's individual technique/style is presented in each work.

Gallery 25N is pleased to have partnered with Art-competition.net to curate this exhibit of international, contemporary artworks. Our mission is to help promote emerging and established artists/photographers and their accomplishments to a worldwide audience.
